How long have you been in business?
About 1 year to date
What items do you sell?
I sell hand made cross stitch kits, charts and completed pieces
Tell us about 2 of your favourite products or best sellers.
One of my favorite pieces is 'Fairy on a cupcake' kit. I made this based on the artwork of a designer friend. She took me a couple of months to design and stitch but was worth it! Fairy is the first large piece I have designed by hand.

One of my most popular items is the Union Jack cross stitch badge ~ a cross stitched flag stuck on a plastic pin badge.
How did you get started/what made you start your own business?
I started my business because I showed some of my designed pieces to my local craft shop and she asked me to supply kits for her. I already made cards and/or gifts for friends and family and had been designing my own work for around 15 years so it was logical at some point to sell the kits!
Do you personally handmake all your items or do you also have help?
Occasionally my (soon to be) mother in law will provide me with completed pieces to sell at craft fairs but generally everything is made by me only.
How can you be contacted?
[email protected] or through Facebook or my website.
Anything you would like to add/message to customers?
If you would like something specific designed or made please contact me, if I can help I will!
We really hope you have enjoyed our interview with Curious Designs, make sure you pop on over and check out all of the amazing kits available!
